CONSUMER LENDING MANAGER

This candidate will function as a product/profit center manager as he/she builds a quality consumer loan portfolio. Responsibilities include organizing, planning, directing, and managing the activities of the lending department to ensure efficient and effective service to our members. Responsibilities include developing and underwriting home equity loans and lines, direct and indirect auto loans as well as monitoring the performance of the indirect loan portfolio. Responsibilities also include building relationships with indirect dealers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years consumer lending experience with solid experience in indirect lending, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. Must be a dynamic, results-oriented professional, self-starter with strong management, analytical, problem solving, communication, and member relations skills. Knowledge of automated consumer lending systems and operations are essential as are strong underwriting skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Experience with Meridian Link and/or Miser a plus.
